Late Night Single Track in Effect on O'Hare Branch of the Blue Line Beginning SaturdayDue to track maintenance, single track service will be in effect westbound between Harlem and Cumberland from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16.
Single track service will be in effect westbound between Central and Nagle from11 p.m. until 4 a.m. each night from Monday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 19.
Customers may want to allow extra travel time.
Wentworth Closes for Street Construction Beginning MondayWentworth will be closed between 63rd and 59th Streets from 5 a.m. Monday, October 17 until 5 p.m. Monday, November 14. Northbound #24 Wentworth buses will operate via Wentworth, 63rd, State, Garfield, back to Wentworth, then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.
Brown Line Capacity Expansion:CTA is working to expand capacity on the Brown Line. When the work is completed, customers will benefit from longer trains during rush hour, and accessible, modern stations and platforms.
Structural Maintenance Temporarily Closes Two Southbound Brown Line Platforms Beginning SaturdayStructural maintenance will temporarily close the southbound platforms at Wellington and Diversey from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16. As a result, southbound Brown Line trains will not stop at the Wellington or Diversey stations. Southbound customers who wish to exit at Wellington or Diversey will need to travel to the Fullerton station and transfer to northbound trains back to those stations.
Red Line- Dan Ryan Branch Rehabilitation:CTA is working to improve power distribution along the branch and upgrade stations. When the work is completed, customers will experience more reliable service and modern station amenities.
Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between Garfield and 69th Street from 8 p.m. Friday, October 14 until 8 a.m. Saturday, October 15.
Single track service will be in effect southbound between 45th and 63rd Streets from 8 p.m. Saturday, October 15 until noon Sunday, October 16.
Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Next WeekSingle track service will be in effect northbound between 63rd Street and Garfield from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, October 17 and Tuesday night, October 18.
Customers may want to allow extra travel time.
