EVENTS AFFECTING CTA SERVICE BEGINNING THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 18 - 20

CTA Provides Convenient Service to Flower and Garden Show at Navy Pier CTA buses provide convenient service to Navy Pier for the annual Chicago Flower and Garden Show in Festival Hall through Sunday, March 20. Show hours are from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Buses on the #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago and #124 Navy Pier routes serve Navy Pier daily. Additionally, #2 Hyde Park Express buses serve Navy Pier during weekday morning and afternoon rush periods.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between 69th and 63rd Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, March 18 until 8 a.m. Saturday, March 19. Single track service also will be in effect northbound between 33rd and 23rd Streets from 8 p.m. Saturday, March 19 until noon Sunday, March 20. Customers should allow extra travel time.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Monday through Next ThursdaySingle track service will be in effect southbound between 63rd and 69th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, March 21. Single track service will be in effect from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. northbound between 79th and 69th Streets Tuesday night, March 22, southbound in the same location Wednesday night, March 23 and northbound again Thursday night, March 24. Customers should allow extra travel time.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on O'Hare Branch of the Blue Line for Subway Sewer Cleaning Friday Single track service will be in effect northbound between Grand and Damen from 9 p.m. Friday, March 18 until 6 a.m. Saturday, March 19. Customers should allow extra travel time.

Single Track in Effect on the Brown Line SundayDue to structure maintenance on the Brown Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between Sedgwick and Chicago Avenue stations on the Brown Line from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, March 20. Customers should allow extra travel time.

Overnight Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Three Northbound Red Line Platforms Beginning SundayTrack maintenance on the north end of the Red Line will take place each night from Sunday, March 20 through Thursday, March 24. As a result, northbound trains will not stop at the Wilson, Lawrence and Argyle stations from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. During these hours, customers wishing to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Berwyn station and transfer to southbound trains and travel back to those stations. Customers should allow extra travel time.

Diversey Closes for Sewer Work Beginning MondayDiversey will be closed westbound at Wolcott from 9 a.m. Monday, March 21 until 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31. Westbound #76 Diversey buses will operate via Diversey, Ashland, Fullerton, Clybourn, back to Diversey, then resume the regular route.

69th Street Closed for CSX Railroad Viaduct Repairs 69th Street is closed between Hamilton and Bell through Friday, April 15. #67 67th/69th/71st buses are operating in both directions via 69th, Damen, Marquette, Western, to 71st, then resuming the regular route.

Bridge Repairs and Testing for the Upcoming Boating Season Continue Next WeekThe Franklin bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22. The closure will affect some morning and afternoon rush period trips on the #37 Sedgwick/Ogden and #125 Water Tower Express bus routes.

The Washington bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23. The closure will affect buses on the #14 Jeffrey Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island, #124 Navy Pier, #127 NW/Madison and #157 Streeterville routes.

The Columbus bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday,March 24. The closure will affect buses on the #124 Navy Pier route.

The Michigan Avenue bridge will be closed from 12:01 a.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday, March 24. The closure will affect buses on the #3 King Drive, #66 Chicago (owl service), #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive Express and #151 Sheridan routes.

Jackson Closed for Sewer Installation Jackson is closed between California and Western through late March. Eastbound #126 Jackson buses are operating via Jackson, California, Congress, Western, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route. Westbound buses are operating via Jackson, Western, Van Buren, California, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route.
