Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to track maintenance on the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between 55th and 33rd Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, June 17 until 8 a.m. Saturday, June 18 and again in the same location southbound from 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18 until noon Sunday, June 19.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Next WeekSingle track service will be in effect northbound between 69th and 63rd Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, June 20 and Tuesday night, June 21, and again during the same hours and in the same location southbound Wednesday night, June 22 and Thursday night, June 23.

Chicago Avenue in Evanston Closes for Fair Beginning FridayChicago Avenue will be closed between Kedzie and Main Street for the Custer Street Fair from 6 p.m. Friday, June 17 until 6 a.m. Monday, June 20. Northbound #205 Chicago/Golf and #201 Central/Ridge buses will operate via Chicago, Kedzie, Hinman, Main, back to Chicago, then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Forest Park Branch of the Blue Line FridayDue to track maintenance, single track service will be in effect eastbound between Western and Morgan from 1:30 a.m. until 4 a.m. Friday, June 17.

Two Parades Close Columbus Drive SaturdayColumbus Drive will be closed between Balbo and Monroe from 6 a.m. until 2:30 pm. Saturday, June 18. The Rotary Centennial Parade will take place from 10 a.m. until noon and the Puerto Rican Day Parade will take place from noon until 2:30 p.m. #6 Jackson Park Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #14 Jeffery Express, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses that ordinarily operate via Columbus and Balbo will be rerouted in both directions to operate via Roosevelt and Michigan during the parades.

Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Two Southbound Brown Line Stations SaturdayTrack maintenance on the Brown Line will take place from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18. As a result, southbound trains will not stop at the Wellington and Diversey stations. Southbound customers who wish to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Fullerton station and transfer to northbound trains back to Wellington or Diversey.

79th Street Closes for Juneteenth Parade Saturday79th Street will be closed from Cornell to Rainbow Beach Park from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 18 for the Juneteenth Celebration Parade. Eastbound #79 79th buses will operate via 79th, Stony Island, 75th to the terminal at South Shore Drive where they will begin their return trips westbound.

#14 Jeffery Express and #15 Jeffery Local buses will operate in both directions via Jeffery, Anthony, 83rd, Stony Island, 75th, back to Jeffery, then resume the regular route.

Puerto Rican Day Parade Closes Streets in Humboldt Park SaturdayDivision will be closed between California and Mozart, and California will be closed between Division and North from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, June 18.#52 Kedzie/California buses will operate in both directions via California, Augusta, Western, North, back to California, then resume the regular route.

#70 Division buses will operate in both directions via Division, Kedzie, Augusta, Western, back to Division, then resume the regular route.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on the O'Hare Branch of the Blue Line SaturdayDue to track maintenance, single track service will be in effect northbound between Grand and Damen from 9 p.m. Saturday, June 18 until 6 a.m. Sunday, June 19.

Damen Closes for Work on Brown Line Elevated Structure SundayDamen will be closed between Eastwood and Leland from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 19. #50 Damen buses will operate in both directions via Damen, Wilson, Ashland, Lawrence, back to Damen, then resume the regular route.

Additionally, the southbound platform and stairway at the Damen station on the Brown Line will be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. As a result, southbound Brown Line trains will not stop at Damen. Southbound customers who wish to exit at Damen will need to travel to Montrose and transfer to a northbound train back to Damen.

Street Closures for Taste of Chicago to Detour 12 Bus Routes Beginning SundayColumbus will be closed between Monroe and Roosevelt; Congress will be closed between Michigan and Columbus; and Jackson will be closed between Lake Shore Drive and Michigan from 5 a.m. Sunday, June 19 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 5. Buses on the #2 Hyde Park Express, #6 Jackson Park Express and #10 Museum of Science and Industry will operate in both directions via Columbus, Roosevelt, Michigan, Balbo to State, then resume the regular route.

Eastbound #7 Harrison and #126 Jackson buses will operate via Michigan, Harrison to Wabash, where they will begin their westbound trips via Wabash, Balbo to Michigan, then resume the regular route.

#14 Jeffery Express, #26 South Shore Express, #X28 Stony Island Express, #127 NW/Madison, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses will operate in both directions via Michigan, Roosevelt to Columbus, then resume the regular route.

Southbound #147 Outer Drive Express buses will operate via Michigan, Congress to State, where they will begin their northbound trips.

Children's Memorial Hospital Loop-the-Loop 5K Race Closes Streets Sunday MorningGrand will be closed between Desplaines and Orleans; Desplaines will be closed between Grand and Fulton; and Fulton will be closed between Desplaines and Carpenter from 8:15 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday, June 19. Northbound #8 Halsted buses will operate via Halsted, Madison, Ashland, Grand, back to Halsted, then resume the regular route. Southbound buses will operate via Halsted, Grand, Ashland, Warren, Washington, back to Halsted, then resume the regular route.

Northbound #56 Milwaukee buses will operate via Madison, Ashland, Grand to Milwaukee, then resume the regular route. Southbound buses will operate via Milwaukee, Grand, Ashland, Warren to Washington, then resume the regular route.

Eastbound #65 Grand buses will operate via Grand, Halsted, Chicago, LaSalle to Illinois, then resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via Grand, LaSalle, Chicago, Halsted, back to Grand, then resume the regular route.

Filming Project Temporarily Closes Lower Level Transfer Tunnel Between Red and Blue Line Subway StationsA filming project will temporarily close the lower level transfer tunnel between the Red Line State Street subway and the Blue Line Dearborn subway at Randolph/ Washington from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday, June 19. Customers with Transit Cards and Chicago Cards may use the mezzanine level at Randolph/Washington to transfer between lines. Red and Blue Line customers can still make free transfers at Jackson. Additional Customer Assistants will be on hand to help customers with directions.

Overnight Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Three Southbound Red Line Platforms Beginning SundayTrack maintenance on the north end of the Red Line will take place from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. each night from Sunday night, June 19 through Thursday night, June 23. As a result, southbound trains will not stop at the Granville, Thorndale and Bryn Mawr stations. During these hours, customers wishing to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Berwyn station and transfer to northbound trains back to those stations.

33rd Street Entrance at Sox-35th Red Line Station Temporarily Closes for Renovations Beginning MondayAs part of the ongoing renovation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, the 33rd Street entrance will be closed from midnight Monday morning, June 20 until late October of this year. Customers are encouraged to use the 35th Street entrance to the station while the work is completed.

Weekday Service to Two Beaches Resumes on MondayWeekday bus service to two beaches will resume Monday, June 20 and operate through late August. Buses on the #63 63rd route will operate to the 63rd Street Beach at Hayes and Lake Shore Drives from 9 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.

During the hours the beach is closed, #63 buses will only travel as far as 63rd/Stony Island.

#72 North buses will serve the North Avenue Beach at LaSalle Drive from 9 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. During the hours the beach is closed, #72 buses will only travel as far as North/Clark.

Division Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs Monday NightThe Division bridge over the Chicago River North Branch will be closed from 10 p.m. Monday, June 20 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 21. #70 Division buses will operate in both directions via Division, Elston, Milwaukee, Chicago, Halsted, back to Division, then resume the regular route.

Division Bridge over the Chicago River (North Branch Canal) Closes for Repairs Tuesday NightThe Division bridge over the Chicago River North Branch Canal will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 22. Eastbound #70 Division buses will operate via Division, Hooker, Halsted, back to Division, then resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via Division, Halsted, North Branch, back to Division, then resume the regular route.

Laramie Closed for Sewer Repairs Laramie is closed northbound only at Fulton until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Northbound #57 Laramie buses are operating via Laramie, Madison, Cicero, Lake, back to Laramie, then resuming the regular route. Southbound service is not affected.

Belmont Closed for Sewer Work Belmont is closed eastbound only at Meade until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Eastbound #77 Belmont buses are operating via Narragansett, Addison, Austin, back to Belmont, then resuming the regular route. Westbound service is not affected.

63rd Street Closed for CSX Railroad Viaduct Repairs 63rd Street is closed westbound only between Damen and Western from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays until Friday, June 24. Westbound #63 63rd buses are operating via 63rd, Damen, 59th, Western, back to 63rd, then resuming the regular route. Eastbound service is not affected.

Jeffery Boulevard Closed for Sewer Construction Jeffery Boulevard is closed between 87th and 93rd Streets through July 15. #14 Jeffery Express and #15 Jeffery Local buses are operating in both directions via Jeffery, 93rd, Stony Island, 87th, back to Jeffery, then resuming the regular route.

Lake Red Line Subway Entrance Temporarily Closed for RenovationsThe Lake Street station entrance to the Red Line is temporarily closed and is only available as an exit until late summer. Customers are encouraged to use the adjacent Red Line subway station entrance at Washington.

Trains continue to stop at the Lake Street subway station during all hours.Customers who wish to exit at the north end of the Lake station should walk north and use the newly renovated stairway. They also may enter and exit at the Randolph/Washington exit at the south end of the station.
