Overnight Sewer Cleaning Affects Blue Line Subway Friday, September 28
Sewer cleaning work in the Blue Line subway will require trains to use a single track while serving subway stations at Jackson, Monroe, Washington and Clark/Lake from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28 until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29.

Structure Maintenance Work Affects Blue Line Saturday, September 29
On Saturday, September 29, the California station will be served by a two-phase single track operation between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. due to structure maintenance.

CTA Customers Score Extra Purple Line Service To Wildcats Game Saturday, September 29
The CTA will operate longer Purple Line trains that offer more frequent service to and from Ryan Field when the Northwestern University Wildcats take on Michigan State Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. Purple Line trains ?which run from Linden Avenue in Wilmette to Howard Street at the Chicago city limits ? will run every eight minutes instead of every ten minutes. Ryan Field is three blocks west of the Central Station in Evanston. Additional Customer Assistants will be on hand at Central to assist fans returning to trains after the game. However, customers are urged to purchase CTA Transit Cards ahead of time to ensure speedy service.

Kids & Kites Festival Detours Two CTA Bus Routes Saturday, September 29
The service drive in front of the Museum of Science & Industry will be closed to all vehicular traffic Saturday, September 29, from 9:00 a.m. until about 7:00 p.m. due to the Kids & Kites Festival. As a result, #10 Museum of Science and Industry buses will be rerouted southbound via Lake Shore Drive/Science Drive-58th/Columbia Drive, and northbound in the reverse pattern. In addition, #55 Garfield buses will be rerouted eastbound via Hyde Park/57th/Lake Shore Drive/Science Drive-58th/Columbia Drive, and westbound in the reverse pattern.

Single Track Affects Red Line Subway Early Sunday, September 30
Signal work will require Red Line subway trains to use a two-phase single track operation between Armitage and Grand from just after midnight on Sunday, September 30 until 8:15 a.m. Red Line trains will use a single track while serving subway stations at Grand, Chicago and Clark/Division between 12:02 a.m. and 5:59 a.m. From 5:59 a.m. until 8:15 a.m., Red Line trains will use a single track while serving the North/Clybourn station.

Structure Maintenance Affects Blue Line Service Sunday, September 30
Due to structure maintenance, Blue Line trains will use a single track operation while serving the California station between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30.

Construction Closes Off A Section Of Wilson Beginning Monday, October 1
Street sewer construction work will close off Wilson Avenue between Broadway and Clark for six weeks beginning Monday, October 1. Therefore, #135 Wilson/LaSalle Express and #145 Wilson/Michigan Express buses will be detoured eastbound via Wilson/Clark/Lawrence/Broadway and back to Wilson over the regular route, and westbound in the reverse pattern.
