Disney On Ice Shows at United Center Served by #19 Express Buses
#19 United Center Express buses will serve all performances of the Disney On Ice ?Toy Story? over the weekend of October 6 ? 9. #19 buses start their trips two hours before the start of each performance southbound on Michigan at Chicago. Operating every 12 minutes until 30 minutes before show time, the buses make stops on Michigan at Illinois and at Randolph before turning west on Madison for additional stops at State, Wells, Clinton and Halsted. Buses then run express to the United Center. Return trips start eastbound on Madison at Gate 3.

Cable Installation Affects Weekend O'Hare Branch Blue Line Service
Starting at midnight Friday, October 6, and continuing until about 2 a.m. Monday, October 9, Blue Line trains will operate on a revised schedule while fiber optic cables are installed along portions of the right-of-way. During this period, trains will use a single track between Belmont and Montrose. Customers will board trains in both directions from the existing island platform at each location. The work will continue on weekends until mid-November.

Extra Service for Wildcats-Hoosiers Game in Evanston Saturday
Longer trains will operate on the Purple Line for the 11 a.m. game Saturday, October 7, at Ryan Field between the Northwestern Wildcats and the Indiana Hoosiers. Purple Line trains stop near Ryan Field at the Central Street station. Connections can be made to Purple Line trains from the Red Line at Howard. Extra Customer Assistants will serve fans returning to trains at the Central station after the game. Customers can speed their trips by purchasing Transit Cards on their way to the game with sufficient value to allow for their return trips later.

Weekday Schedules in Effect on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9
CTA buses and trains will operate on regular weekday schedules on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9.

Columbus Day Parade Monday Detours Buses from Columbus to Michigan
Five CTA bus lines that regularly use Columbus Drive between Roosevelt and Balbo will be detoured to Michigan Avenue Monday from about 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for the Columbus Day Parade. The parade is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Bus lines affected by the detour include the #2 Hyde Park Express, #6 Jeffery Express, #14 South Lake Shore Express, #127 North Western/Madison and #146 Marine/Michigan Express.
