CTA NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT FOR PARATRANSIT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

The Chicago Transit Authority announces the appointment of Terry A. Levin as Vice President Paratransit Operations and Customer Service.

Levin will oversee Customer Service and Paratransit Services, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations.

Levin comes to the CTA from the Public Building Commission of Chicago, where he had served as Public Information Officer since August, 2000. Prior to that he served in public information positions in various City and County agencies, including the City's Department of Streets and Sanitation, the Mayor's Office of Special Events and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

In naming Levin to the post, CTA President Frank Kruesi said, "With his extensive public sector experience, and his skills as a communicator, Terry is well-suited to lead these departments. We are delighted to have him join us and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our Paratransit and Customer Service operations as we continue toward our goal of providing service that is on-time, safe, clean and friendly."
