The Chicago Transit Authority expects that up to 46 Loop bus routes that travel in the vicinity of the International Workers Parade scheduled for Tuesday, May 1 may be impacted with intermittent delays.

CTA will have extra personnel available on the system as needed to assist customers with rolling reroutes as the parade makes its ways through the Loop. CTA is advising customers to allow extra travel time. To speed travel, customers are encouraged to buy farecards in advance with sufficient value or to add enough value to their existing farecards (either the Chicago Card or magnetic strip farecard) for their return trips later in the day.
