CTA buses will be detoured off Washington, Dearborn and Clark Streets for a rally for the Gore/Lieberman presidential ticket on Thursday, November 2. The rally is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. The streets will be closed at various times starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, as follows:

Washington Street
Washington will be closed between Clark and Dearborn from 10 a.m. Wednesday until late Thursday evening. Buses will be detoured off Washington via Clark, Monroe and State back to Washington. The affected lines include #14 South Lake Shore Express, #19 United Center Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #127 NorthWestern/Madison and #157 Streeterville.

Dearborn Street
Dearborn will be closed between Madison and Randolph from 9 a.m. Thursday until late Thursday afternoon. #22 Clark, #24 Wentworth, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses will be detoured off Dearborn via Monroe, State and Randolph back to Dearborn.

Clark Street
#22 Clark and #24 Wentworth buses will be detoured off Clark via Randolph, LaSalle and Monroe back to Clark from 10 a.m. Thursday until late Thursday afternoon.

Blue Line Subway Entrances
All Daley Plaza entrances to the Dearborn subway will be closed Thursday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Blue Line customers boarding or exiting trains at the Washington station are advised to use subway entrances on Dearborn between Washington and Madison.
