Station reconstruction work planned this week on the Brown Line will require that the auxiliary entrance at the Belmont station temporarily close Tuesday and Wednesday night.
10 p.m., Tuesday, April 3 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 4
At Belmont, the entrance will temporarily close to customers for track work. To enter the station, customers must use the entrance located approximately 80 feet west of the existing temporary entrance.
If necessary, the entrance will be temporarily closed during the same hours on Wednesday night.
In addition, Belmont Avenue will be closed between Sheffield and Wilton during the same hours on Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 4. #77 Belmont buses will be rerouted operate in both directions via Belmont, Sheffield, Addison, Halsted and Belmont, then resume the regular route.
If necessary, Belmont Avenue may be closed during the same hours on Thursday night.
