Kedzie Jewel transforms the original Kedzie station into a space of color. Artist Erin Curtis replaced 44 of the original clear windows with panes of glass the color of sunsets and summer days to energize the stationhouse and renew the architecture throughout the shifting light of the day and seasons. Seen from the street, the station becomes a beacon of light, while riders in the station see a neighborhood and themselves washed in kaleidoscopic color.
