This art installation is a filmic exhibition of home movies and amateur films selected from collections housed and preserved at the Chicago Film Archives (CFA). Scores of Chicagoans, families and vintage street scenes are reflected in these films which document and celebrate everyday lives. Manifesting love, belonging, and safety, we love is an homage to home movie makers and honors those who ride the CTA every day.
we love is projected on the east wall of the street-level lobby and runs throughout the day and evening and has a runtime of 48 minutes. The exhibition will continue through March 2026.
