Bus Substitution Between Clark/Lake and UIC-Halsted Stations
How does this affect my trip?
Shuttle buses replace rail service between Clark/Lake and UIC-Halsted.
Trains operate between O’Hare and Clark/Lake and between UIC-Halsted and Forest Park.
Allow extra travel time.
Why is service being changed?
We are making track improvements to prevent slow zones and improve rail service along the Blue Line.
RED and BROWN LINES

Boarding Change at Belmont, Kimball-bound Trains Bypass Diversey and Wellington
How does this affect my trip?
Belmont Station:
To Kimball, Howard: Board/exit all trains on the Red Line side of the Loop/95th-bound platform.
To Loop, 95th: Board/exit all trains on the Brown/Purple lines side of the Loop/95th-bound platform.
Diversey and Wellington Stations:
Kimball-bound trains will not stop at the Diversey and Wellington stations.
For service to Diversey and Wellington, take a Kimball-bound train to Belmont and transfer to a Loop-bound train.
For service from Diversey and Wellington, board a Loop-bound train to Fullerton and transfer to Kimball-bound train.
Allow extra travel time.

We are performing station construction to modernize and expand stations along the Brown Line.

Belmont and Fullerton Stations:

To Loop, 95th: Board/exit all trains on the Red Line side of the Kimball/Howard-bound platform.
Wellington and Diversey Stations:
Loop-bound trains will not stop at the Wellington and Diversey stations.
For service to Wellington and Diversey, take a Loop-bound train to Fullerton and transfer to a Kimball-bound train.
For service from Wellington and Diversey, board a Kimball-bound train to Belmont and transfer to a Loop-bound train.
Note: Kimball-bound Brown Line and Howard-bound Red Line trains will stop at the Wellington and Diversey stations.

How does this affect my trip?
Customers will board/exit all trains on the normal platforms at Sheridan station, but will board/exit trains on the outer tracks instead of the inner tracks.
Trains will operate on the tracks normally used by Purple Line Express trains between Wilson and Addison.
Allow extra travel time.
Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line.

Buses are rerouted due to construction for the Norfolk Southern Railroad yard expansion.

Southbound buses will operate Clark to Polk, ending their trips on Polk between Clark and Dearborn.
Northbound buses will begin their trips on Polk between Clark and Dearborn, then continue their normal route on Dearborn.
Why is service being changed?
The bus terminal will be relocated due to construction at 600 S. Clark.
