TWO PARADES AFFECT CTA SERVICE ON SUNDAY

Additional Service Provided for Disability Pride ParadeThe Chicago Transit Authority will provide additional service on the #12 Roosevelt bus route between the Roosevelt CTA rail stations and the Museum Campus, and on the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express bus route between State/Lake and the campus for customers attending the National Disability Pride Parade at the Museum Campus on Sunday, July 18. All buses on the #12 and #146 routes will be accessible.

The parade begins at noon with the additional bus service beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing until one hour after the event ends or as crowds warrant.

Additional CTA supervisory personnel will be available at State/Roosevelt and at the Museum Campus to help customers who may need extra assistance.

Milwaukee Avenue Closes for Parade Midday SundayMilwaukee Avenue will be closed between Western and California from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the Columbia Parade. #56 Milwaukee buses will operate in both directions via Milwaukee, Western, Fullerton, back to Milwaukee, then resume the regular route.

#73 Armitage buses will operate in both directions via Armitage, Damen, North, California, back to Armitage, then resume the regular route.

#49 Western and #52 Kedzie/California buses may experience intermittent service delays during the parade.
