THREE BUS LINES DETOURED FOR HELLENIC HERITAGE PARADE SUNDAY

Three CTA bus lines will be detoured off Halsted between Lake and Harrison for the Hellenic Heritage Parade Sunday, March 26. The parade is scheduled to step off at 2:30 p.m. The line of march will be south on Halsted from Randolph to Van Buren.

During the parade, #8 Halsted buses will be detoured northbound from Halsted via Harrison, Jefferson and Lake back to Halsted. Southbound buses will operate east on Lake to Desplaines, south to Harrison and west back to Halsted. Buses will make all stops requested by customers along the detoured routing.

Buses heading west on the #20 Madison route will go north on Jefferson to Lake, west to Morgan and south back to Madison. Eastbound #20 Madison buses will take Morgan north to Lake, go east to Desplaines, and south back to the regular route at Washington.

Also affected by the parade will be #126 Jackson buses, which will operate west on Van Buren to Desplaines, go south to Harrison, west to Morganand north back to Van Buren. Eastbound #126 buses will turn off Jackson at Morgan, go south to Harrison and east to Jefferson before returning to Jackson.
