The Chicago Transit Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Theodore R. Jamison III to its Law Department as Deputy General Counsel of Enforcement and Investigations.
Mr. Jamison earned his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Prior to joining CTA, Mr. Jamison served as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago. During his tenure, he worked in the Felony Trial Division, Narcotics Prosecution Bureau, and most recently in the Juvenile Justice Bureau where he served as supervisor of the Juvenile Delinquency Division.
Mr. Jamison is a member of the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission Subcommittee on Disproportionate Minority Confinement; Cook County State's Attorney's African-American Advisory Council; and is active at Apostolic Faith Church.

Mr. Jamison and his wife, Dr. Dianne Jamison, reside in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood.
