Northbound Red Line Trains to Temporarily Reroute to Elevated Tracks Next Week
The slow zone elimination work that rerouted northbound Red Line trains to elevated tracks from 9 p.m. each night until
5 a.m. the following morning has been postponed for Monday and Tuesday night only.
For Monday, March 17 and Tuesday March 18, northbound Red Line trains will operate normally between Cermak-Chinatown and Fullerton stations.
Work on Wednesday, March 19 through Friday, March 24 remains scheduled.
