Five CTA bus routes that regularly use Jackson to reach Michigan will be detoured when a new phase of construction at the Grant Park South Garage closes Jackson at Michigan for about six months starting Monday, October 29.
During this period, five bus routes will be detoured off Jackson eastbound at State: #1 Indiana/Hyde Park, #7 Harrison, #126 Jackson, #60 Blue Island/26th and #129 West Loop/South Loop.
Buses on all except the #60 route will turn south from Jackson at State and go east on Congress before returning to their regular routes southbound on Michigan.
#60 Blue Island/26th buses will go north from Jackson at State and east on Monroe back to the regular route northbound on Michigan. Buses on all five routes will continue to operate west through the Loop on Adams from Michigan.
