NOTICE OF COMMITTEE MEETING

January 7, 2009

TO THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS
OF THE TRANSIT BOARD:

          A meeting of the Committee on Finance, Audit and Budget has been called by the Chairman, Mr. Alejandro Silva, and will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, immediately following the Committee on Strategic Planning and Service Delivery, at the offices of the Chicago Transit Authority, 567 West Lake Street, Second Floor, Boardroom, Chicago, Illinois, for the purpose of considering:

- Purchase and/or sales award recommendations

- General Finance matters

- General Legal matters

- Real Estate matters

- CTA related policy matters

- Matters relating to the Authority's capital construction projects

and to transact any other business that may properly come before the Committee at that time.
