Weekend Construction Closes California from 19th to 21st Streets Construction on the Cermak branch of the Blue Line will close California between 19th and 21st Streets from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 2 until 5 a.m. Monday, November 4. #94 South California buses will be detoured off California in both directions via Cermak, Marshall, Sacramento and Ogden to California.

Bridge Work Closes Kimball at Avondale Starting Saturday, November 2Construction work on a Metra bridge will close Kimball at Avondale for about two weeks starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, November 2. #82 Kimball/Homan buses will be detoured in both directions via Belmont, Kedzie, Elston and Addison to Kimball.

'L' Work Closes State at Lake Saturday Night through Sunday Morning Maintenance work on the 'L' structure will close State at Lake from 6:30 p.m. Saturday, November 2 until 10 a.m. Sunday, November 3. #29 State buses will be detoured off State northbound via Randolph, Dearborn and Wacker to State. #145 Wilson/Michigan Express and #146 Marine/Michigan Express buses will operate northbound via State and Washington instead of Lake to Michigan.#29 State, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses will be detoured southbound off State via Wacker, Clark and Washington to State. 'L' service will not be affected.

Gimme Shelter 5K Run Affects West Loop Traffic Early Sunday MorningTraffic in the West Loop area will be affected by the Gimme Shelter 5K Run Sunday morning from 9 a.m. until about 11:30 a.m. The run will take place along a route in the area bounded by Jackson, May, Washington and Wolcott. #9 Ashland, #20 Madison and #126 Jackson buses may be delayed briefly but will not be detoured.

Maintenance Work Affects North End of Brown Line Sunday, November 3 Painting of the 'L' structure at Western will require Brown Line trains to use a single track while serving the stations at Western, Rockwell and Francisco from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, November 3.
