Railway Viaduct Work Closes Belmont at Kedzie Saturday, January 4Railway viaduct work will close Belmont between Kedzie and the northbound Kennedy Expressway exit at Troy from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, January 4. #77 Belmont buses will be detoured in both directions via Kedzie, Addison and California to Belmont.

#19 Express Buses Serve Notre Dame-Valpo Basketball Game SaturdayCTA's #19 United Center Express buses will serve the United Center for the NCAA basketball game at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 4 between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Valparaiso Crusaders. Running every 12 minutes from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., #19 buses will operate south on Michigan from Chicago Avenue, making additional stops on Michigan at Illinois and at Randolph. #19 buses turn west on Madison and stop at Wabash, State, Wells and Clinton before running express to the United Center. After the game buses return downtown via Washington and make all stops north on Michigan to Chicago.

Jackson Closes for Kennedy Expressway Bridge Work Starting January 5 Reconstruction of the Jackson bridge over the Kennedy Expressway will close one-way eastbound Jackson between Halsted and Desplaines for about five months starting Sunday, January 5. #126 Jackson buses will be detoured off Jackson eastbound via Halsted, Harrison and Jefferson back to Jackson.
