Wacky-Snacky Race May Affect West Loop Bus Service Sunday MorningThe LifeStart Wellness Network's Wacky-Snacky 5K race will be held west of the Loop Sunday morning from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The race will be in the area bounded by Washington, Clinton, Van Buren and Bishop. Buses in the area may be delayed briefly as race participants advance along the course. Affected bus routes may include the #8 Halsted, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island/26th and #126 Jackson.

Temporary 54th/Cermak Blue Line Station Entrance Opens February 25 Bus and train service to the 54th/Cermak Blue Line terminal will be affected for about a year starting Monday, February 25, when a temporary accessible station entrance opens about two blocks east of the existing entrance. The change is part of the Cermak branch reconstruction project, which began last September. As Cermak branch trains begin and end their trips at the temporary platform at Laramie, CTA and Pace buses will serve the station as follows:

#21 Cermak buses can be boarded ? block south of the Blue Line tracks on Cermak.

#25 West Cermak and N60 Blue Island/26th buses can be boarded in the driveway adjacent to the Blue Line tracks at Laramie.

Pace #304, #305 (northbound) and #322 buses can be boarded on the east side of Laramie just north of the rail crossing.

Pace #305 (southbound) and #767 buses can be boarded on the west side of Laramie just north of the rail crossing.
