Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between 23rd and 33rd Streets from 8 p.m. Saturday, March 5 until noon Sunday, March 6. Customers should allow extra travel time.
Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Monday through Next ThursdaySingle track service will be in effect northbound between 94th and 87th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, March 7 and again during the same hours northbound between 33rd and 23rd Streets Tuesday night, March 8, northbound between 63rd and 55th Streets Wednesday night, March 9. Single track service also will be in effect southbound between 63rd and 55th Streets Thursday night, March 10 from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Customers should allow extra travel time.
Bridge Repairs and Testing for the Upcoming Boating Season Continue into Next Week
The State Street bridge over the Chicago River will be closed from 7 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 8. The closure will affect buses on the #29 State, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer routes.
The Adams Street bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9. The closure will affect buses on the #1 Indiana/Hyde Park, #7 Harrison, #X28 Stony Island Express, #126 Jackson, #151 Sheridan and #156 LaSalle routes.
The Roosevelt bridge will be closed from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, March 17. The closure will affect buses on the #12 Roosevelt and #N62 Archer (owl service) routes.
Jackson Closed for Sewer Installation Jackson is closed between California and Western through late March. Eastbound #126 Jackson buses are operating via Jackson, California, Congress, Western, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route. Westbound buses are operating via Jackson, Western, Van Buren, California, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route.
