Division Bridge over the Chicago River Closed for Repairs The Division Street bridge over the Chicago River North Branch Canal at 829 West Division is closed for repairs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday. #70 Division buses are operating in both directions via Elston, Milwaukee, Chicago, Halsted, back to Division then resume the regular route.
State Street Closes in Two Areas for Filming Project SundayState Street will be closed between 9th and 11th Streets on Sunday, February 1 from 8 a.m. until noon and again between Polk and Harrison from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. for filming. #29 State buses will operate in both directions via Roosevelt, Michigan, Congress, back to State then resume the regular route. Southbound #36 Broadway buses will via State, Harrison, back to Dearborn then resume the regular route. Northbound service will not be affected. #62 Archer buses will operate in both directions via State, Roosevelt, Clark, Harrison, back to Dearborn then resume the regular route. Southbound #6 Jackson Park Express buses will operate via State, Congress, Michigan, back to Balbo then resume the regular route. Northbound service will not be affected.
Kedzie and Pulaski Close for Viaduct Work on MondayKedzie will be closed between Arthington and Fillmore and Pulaski will be closed between Carroll and Ferdinand southbound only on Monday, February 2 beginning at 7 a.m. for viaduct clearance construction. Southbound #53 Pulaski buses will operate via Ferdinand, Hamlin, Washington, back to Pulaski then resume the regular route. Southbound #52 Kedzie/California buses will operate via Polk, Homan, Roosevelt, back to Kedzie then resume the regular route. Northbound service will not be affected on either route.
47th Street Closes for Metra Viaduct Work on Monday47th Street will be closed between Federal and LaSalle from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. for one day only Monday for Metra Rock Island viaduct construction. Eastbound #47 47th buses will operate via Wells, 51st, State, back to 47th then resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via State, 51st, Wentworth, back to 47th then resume the regular route.
51st Street Closes for Metra Viaduct Work on Tuesday51st Street will be closed between State and LaSalle from 7 a.m. Tuesday, February 3 through Friday, February 20, for Metra viaduct construction. Northbound #15 Jeffery Local buses will operate via 51st, State, 47th to the Red Line station. Southbound #15 buses will leave the station and operate via, Wells, 51st, Wentworth, 47th, State, back to 51st then resume the regular route.
