CTA buses provide convenient service to Navy Pier for the annual Chicago Flower and Garden Show in Festival Hall Saturday, March 12 through Sunday, March 20. Show hours are from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Buses on the #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago and #124 Navy Pier routes serve Navy Pier daily. Additionally, #2 Hyde Park Express buses serve Navy Pier during weekday morning and afternoon rush periods.
#29 buses operate to Navy Pier north through the Loop on State before heading east on Illinois, which is one block south of the Red Line subway station at Grand. Connections also can be made to #29 buses from the Loop 'L' station at State/Lake.
#65 buses operate between Grand/Nordica and Navy Pier from 5 a.m. weekdays and Saturdays, and 7 a.m. Sundays until 7 p.m. each evening. Customers using the O'Hare branch of the Blue Line can transfer to #65 buses at Grand/Milwaukee.
#66 buses stop on Chicago Avenue for customers connecting from the Blue, Brown and Red Lines, and across from the Water Tower at Michigan Avenue.
#124 buses operate through downtown between Navy Pier, Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center and the Randolph Street Metra station from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. Customers using Union Station should board #124 buses northbound on Canal at Adams. Customers using Ogilvie should board northbound on Canal at Madison or Washington.
As an added convenience, customers can purchase or add value to their Transit Cards and Chicago Cards at the Transit Card Vending Machine located at Navy Pier.
Fares are $1.75 ($2 with a transfer) for customers 12 and older. Children 7 through 11 pay 85 cents ($1 with a transfer).
