From 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 10 until 5 a.m. Monday, August 13, State Street will be intermittently closed between Washington and Randolph for construction work at Block 37.
Seventeen CTA bus routes may need to undergo reroutes to adjacent streets depending upon the traffic volume. Rerouting these bus routes away from the lane reductions on Washington, Dearborn and Randolph for construction activity will improve the reliability of CTA bus service in the area and create a more predictable flow of traffic for the duration of this phase of the project. The routes subject to temporary reroutes are:

Buses Reroute for Filming
From noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 12 State Street between Kinzie and Wacker will be closed and Wacker will undergo intermittent closures between Wabash and Dearborn for filming.
Southbound #6 Jackson and southbound #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses will travel over the regular route along Wacker to Michigan then will operate via Randolph to State then resume the regular route.
Northbound #10 Museum of Science and Industry buses will travel over the regular route to Lake then travel east on Lake to Michigan and resume the regular route. Southbound buses will operate via Michigan, Randolph to State and resume the regular route.
#29 State buses will operate in both directions via State, Wacker, Dearborn, Kinzie, Clark then return to State and resume the regular route.
Southbound #36 buses will travel over the regular route to Kinzie then will operate via Clark, Monroe to State then resume the regular route.
Northbound #62 Archer buses will travel over the regular route along Dearborn to Hubbard then will operate via State to Kinzie. Southbound buses will travel along Kinzie to Clark, Monroe then return to State and resume the regular route.
#201 Central Ridge Buses to Reroute Next Week
From 7:30 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. each morning beginning Monday, August 13 through Saturday, August 18, westbound #201 Central Ridge buses will reroute at the Howard Red Line station due to construction.
Westbound buses will travel over the regular route to Howard then will operate via Rogers, Sheridan, Howard to Rogers then turn left and travel north through the terminal and resume the regular route.

Buses Reroute for Railroad Crossing Repairs Next WeekFrom 9 a.m. Monday, August 6 until 3 p.m. Monday, August 27 repairs on the railroad crossing at 75th and Exchange will necessitate the rerouting of the #71 71st, N5 South Shore Night and #75-74th/75th route buses.
Northbound #71 71st street buses will travel along the regular route to Exchange then will operate via, 76th, Coles then return to 75th and resume the regular route.
#N5 South Shore Night buses and #75 ? 74th/75th buses will operate in both directions via 75th, Coles, 76th, Yates, then return to 75th then resume the regular route.
