Mayor Lightfoot announced today that CDOT and the CTA are launching Pop-Up Essential Bus Lanes as part of a pilot on two of the City’s highest ridership routes, Chicago Avenue (#66) and 79th Street (#79). Mayor Rahm Emanuel today joined CTA Board Chairman Terry Peterson and CTA President Dorval R. Carter, Jr. to open the first of two new bus and rail terminal facilities at 95th Street. CTA to Re-Open West Bus Terminal at 95th Street Terminal on Tuesday (12/19) 12/15/2017

The Chicago Transit Authority is alerting bus and rail customers who use the 95th Street Red Line Terminal that the west bus terminal will re-open at 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, at which time nearly all CTA and Pace buses will return to their normal boarding locations.
