It is summer events season in downtown Chicago. In the area around Grant Park, street closures associated with events such as NASCAR Chicago Street Race and Lollapalooza will roll out in phases.

#2 Hyde Park Express, #6 Jackson Park Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #J14 Jeffery Jump, #26 South Shore Express and #28 Stony Island buses will resume their normal routing on Columbus and Balbo instead of on Roosevelt and Michigan. Board buses at:
- 11th/Columbus (Pedestrian Underpass)
- Balbo & Columbus
- Balbo & Michigan

Columbus and Balbo Drives are scheduled to temporarily close again. Buses will again be temporarily rerouted in the area of Grant Park for Lollapalooza.
