Boarding Change, Delays Between LaSalle and Grand

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Jackson, Monroe, Washington, and Clark/Lake stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between LaSalle and Grand, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.

 

PINK LINE

Trains Rerouted Downtown

How does this affect my trip?
Pink Line trains will operate counterclockwise on the Outer Loop.

Board/exit Pink Line trains on the Brown Line platform at all Loop stations.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely on the Loop Elevated.

GREEN,  ORANGE LINES

Delays Between Cermak-McCormick Place and Roosevelt, and Halsted and Roosevelt

How does this affect my trip?
Green Line trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Cermak-McCormick Place and Roosevelt, and Orange Line trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Halsted and Roosevelt, resulting in minor delays. 

Allow extra travel time.

We are performing structure maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Orange and Green Lines

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all Green and Orange line trains on the Ashland/63rd-Cottage Grove and Midway-bound side of the platform at the Roosevelt elevated station.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Roosevelt and the Loop.

Northbound #6 Jackson Park Express
and #J14 Jeffery Jump buses will operate via Columbus, Roosevelt, and Michigan to Balbo, then continue their normal route on Michigan.

Southbound #6 buses will operate via Balbo, Michigan, and Roosevelt, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

Southbound #J14 buses will operate via Michigan and Roosevelt, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the Polish Constitution Day Parade.

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound buses will operate via the Austin/Chicago bus terminal, Austin, Augusta, and Central, then resume their normal route on Chicago.

Westbound buses are not affected.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to construction.
 

#78 Montrose Temporary Reroute

How does this affect my trip?
Beach Trips Only: Eastbound buses will end their trips at Montrose/Marine.

Westbound buses will begin their trips at Montrose/Marine, then continue their normal
route on Montrose.

Buses will not serve Montrose Beach.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the Cinco de Miler 5K.

Buses will operate in both directions via McFetridge Drive and the Field Museum (east service drive).

Buses will not operate east of the Field Museum service drive, and will not directly serve the Shedd Aquarium or Adler Planetarium.
