Description:

Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Purchase of Electricity for the Exclusive Use by the Chicago Transit Authority for a Period of Up to Thirty-Six Months Beginning with the January 2020 Meter Read with an Option to Extend One Time for an Additional Period of Up to Two Years or Two Times for Additional Periods of Up to One Year Each.

The bid due date has been extended from Tuesday, October 9, 2018 to Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

Proposers may submit a detailed list of questions or requested modifications to the RFP, the contract forms or other exhibits and appendices, in writing no later than Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) via e-mail to: pmckenna@transitchicago.com. Vendors must submit their detailed list in a Word document. Questions will not be accepted after this date and time.

PLEASE NOTE: Where proposals are sent by mail, delivery service or delivered in-person to the CTA Bid Office, the bidders shall be responsible for their delivery only to the Bid Office before the advertised date and hour for the opening of the bids. The Bid Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Chicago time, except holidays.
