Description:

Provide Labor, Supervision, Materials and Power Equipment Necessary for the Cleaning of Sewers, Catch Basins and Drains of CTA’s Subway Vent Shaft, Louvers and Emergency Subway Exits as Required for a Period of Up to 36 Months.

Addendum No. 1 was issued Thursday, October 17, 2019. Bidder must take this Addendum into consideration when preparing your responses.

Receipt of the Addendum must be acknowledged in the box provided at the top of the page titled "TO BE EXECUTED BY A CORPORATION" or "TO BE EXECUTED BY A SOLE PROPRIETOR" or "TO BE EXECUTED BY PARTNERSHIP OR JOINT VENTURE", whichever page is applicable.

Failure to acknowledge receipt of the Addendum shall result in your bid being disqualified.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:15 p.m. (CST) at 567 West Lake Street, 2nd Floor, Bid Office Conference Room, Chicago, Illinois 60661.

Questions regarding this Bid must be submitted in writing no later than 4:30 p.m. (CST) Monday, October 14, 2019 via e-mail to: shutcherson@transitchicago.com. Vendors must submit their written questions in a Word document. Questions will not be accepted after this date and time.

PLEASE NOTE: Where bids are sent by mail, delivery service or delivered in-person to the CTA Bid Office, the bidders shall be responsible for their delivery only to the Bid Office before the advertised date and hour for the opening of the bids. The Bid Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Chicago time, except holidays.
