Lawrence to Bryn Mawr: Stage A to Begin Spring 2021
Upcoming Virtual Town Halls March 2 and March 4, 6-8 p.m.
We’re hosting two virtual town hall meetings to allow members of the communities surrounding the four Lawrence to Bryn Mawr Red Line stations to receive an update on the CTA’s Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Phase One Project and the reconstruction of station and tracks between N. Ardmore and N. Leland avenues that will begin in spring 2021. Following the presentation, the RPM team will answer questions from residents and CTA customers who attend the meetings.
The virtual meetings will be held via Zoom and will be divided into Lawrence/Argyle and Berwyn/Bryn Mawr to ensure zone-specific information is shared and related questions are answered, though residents and customers can attend any meeting they choose.

Granville track construction
To prepare for new track and station construction starting in 2021, we made significant improvements to our our Red and Purple Line track structures in 2020 so we can continue to provide service to our customers during construction. In Fall 2020, we held a briefing with residents near the Red Line and Granville to provide an update on the work.
