As part of the proposed 2022 budget, we’ve proposed lowering a number of fares.
The proposed changes will make transfers FREE, make the popular discounted pass prices from the summer/fall permanent, as well as lower the price of other passes!
This is intended to make our already-low fares even more affordable, support the region’s ongoing recovery from the pandemic, respond to changing commuter patterns and continue to drive a return to public transit.
Visit transitchicago.com/finance for complete details, including the proposed 2022 budget, Notice of Public Hearing (including info about how to participate) and more.
