The map also indicates that, during the day, #43 buses travel west to Princeton, north to Root and west along Root and Exchange, to make a Loop in the Stockyards area along Morgan, 45th, Racine, 40th, and Morgan before returning east.) For trips to Washington/Clinton, after returning to State Street, buses would continue north to Adams, then west on Adams, north on Canal, west on Lake, and south on Clinton back to Washington.
