Full Description:

How does this affect my trip?
The elevator at the Garfield station will be temporarily out of service.
 
Entry/exiting from the platform will be available by stairs and escalator only.

For accessible boarding/exiting of Red Line trains, use the adjacent stations at 47th or 63rd. #24 Wentworth bus service is also available to those stations, or to downtown (no late evening, weekend or owl service).

The elevator is estimated to return to service on August 21, 2017 (date subject to change).

Why is service being changed?
We are performing critical maintenance on the elevator at Garfield station to ensure continued safe, accessible service.
