Full Description:
How does this affect my trip?
The upper-level pedestrian transfer tunnel between the Adams-Jackson mezzanines of the Jackson Red and Blue line stations will be temporarily closed.
The lower-level free transfer tunnel between the Red and Blue line platforms will remain available for use.
Customers needing to make an accessible transfer between the Red Line and Blue Line will need to transfer at street level, using Jackson Blvd. between the accessible entrances to the Red Line on State Street and Blue Line on Dearborn Street. Normal fare rules apply.*
Why is service being changed?
The tunnel will be temporarily closed due to GSA maintenance.
* Valid farecard used at start of rail trip needed for free transfer via upper transfer tunnel or street.
