Full Description:

How does this affect my trip?
Shuttle buses replace rail service between Western and Washington.

Trains operate:

  • between O’Hare and Western
  • between Washington and Forest Park.


Shuttle buses will operate between Western and Jackson stations. For accessible service, transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Jackson station.

Allow extra travel time.

Map shows that train service to/from O'Hare terminates at Western, where shuttle buses continue service from Western, with additional stops at Damen, Division, Chicago, Grand, Clark/Lake and Washington, where train service resumes en route to/from Forest Park.

 

Why is service being changed?
We are making track improvements to prevent slow zones and improve rail service along the Blue Line.
