How does this affect my trip?
The #69 Cumberland/East River will be discontinued, with the #81W West Lawrence rerouted to serve as an alternative along most of the route.
On weekdays only, #81W buses will be rerouted between Lawrence and Bryn Mawr via Lawrence, East River Road, Catalpa, Delphia, and Bryn Mawr. There will be no CTA bus service on Cumberland between Lawrence and Bryn Mawr on weekdays, but alternate service is available on Pace #331 Cumberland-5th Ave.
On weekends, the #81W will continue to operate via Cumberland between Lawrence and Bryn Mawr.

Why is service being changed?
Service is being changed to use existing resources to meet growing ridership needs and add bus and train service on high-demand routes across the entire CTA network as part of the Plan to Reduce Crowding.
