Full Description:
How does this affect my trip?
The #11 Lincoln/Sedgwick will be divided into two routes:
- the #11 Lincoln, operating between Howard/McCormick and the Western Brown Line station via Lincoln
- the new #37 Sedgwick, operating between the Fullerton Red/Purple/Brown lines station and the Clinton Blue Line station, replacing the former #11 service south of Fullerton
Service on the #11 will be discontinued between the Western Brown Line station and the Fullerton Red/Purple/Brown lines station.
Weekend service between the Fullerton Red/Purple/Brown lines station and Clark/North via Lincoln and Clark will also be discontinued.
#11 buses will operate from approximately 6am to 7:30pm on weekdays, 7:20am to 7:30pm on Saturdays, and 7:20am to 7pm on Sundays/Holidays. #37 buses will operate from approximately 6am to 7:30pm on weekdays only.
Alternate service is available in the affected area on the Brown Line, Red Line, #9 Ashland, #49 Western, #50 Damen*, #74 Fullerton, #76 Diversey, #77 Belmont, #78 Montrose, #80 Irving Park, #82 Kimball/Homan, and #152 Addison. (Routes in bold will receive improved service frequencies. Route marked with an asterisk * has extended service hours.)

Why is service being changed?
Service is being changed to use existing resources to meet growing ridership needs and add bus and train service on high-demand routes across the entire CTA network as part of the Plan to Reduce Crowding.
