Bus Substitution Between Roosevelt Station and Downtown

Full Description: How does this affect my trip? Shuttle buses will replace rail service between Roosevelt and the Loop. Orange Line trains will operate between Midway and Roosevelt. Green Line trains will run in two sections: between Harlem/Lake and the Loop, operating via the Outer Loop (Brown Line side); and between Ashland/63rd-Cottage Grove and Roosevelt. Transfer to shuttle buses to the Loop at Roosevelt, and buses to Roosevelt at Harold Washington Library station. Red Line subway trains are also available for alternate service between Roosevelt and Downtown. Allow extra travel time. Why is service being changed? We are making track improvements to prevent slow zones and to improve rail service on the Loop Elevated. Map
